THC-O is a hemp-derived substance that is three times stronger than THC. It is an artificial compound that is sought after as a result of its potency and legal status because it is a chemical substance of federally legal hemp. Its validity is still a grey area as some specialists say that it should be prohibited according to the Federal Analog Act.

THC-O is made by using high-proof alcohol or acetone solvents where the hemp plant molecules are liquified and extracted later on. This extraction leaves behind the solvent with the THC dissolved into it creating a more powerful and concentrated liquid than different other hemp-derived products. It is three times as strong as Delta 9 THC and 5 times more powerful than Delta 8 THC which have the same base structure but with an acetate connected.
